Welcome to greater group’s May newsletter!

The year has started off in superb style with our global clientele rapidly expanding. The global teams have carried out some fantastic work with the completion of numerous projects, such as the Sheridan Studio concept stores, the Lincoln auto dealership rollout across China, and the Smiggle UK rollout reaching our 100th store. Exciting 2017 collaborations are also underway with Kikki.K, Miu Miu/Prada, Pandora, New Balance and Liverpool Football Club, just to name a few.

2016 showed strong growth on the prior year. In 2016, we opened a London office, KL and a Jakarta office. The Jakarta team is developing fast as we look to expand our marketing department there. Now we operate across 12 global offices. Next stop, the United States!

Behind every success is a great team. A huge welcome to all new staff to the greater group family, who you’ll meet in the Staff updates section. And more expansion news with Phoebe Morrison (PM, AUS) and CJ Hui (Admin/Finance Assistant, HK) both expanding their families with new babies. Minny Chung (Multimedia Manager, AUS), Elissa Luciani (Designer, AUS) and Polly Glaysher Pagh (Global Design Coordinator) have returned from maternity leave. Rachel Nelson (Account Manager, AUS) will also rejoin the team soon. Daniel Angley (Designer, AUS) and partner Alice’s new twins recently visited the Melbourne office for the first time and set the tongues wagging…..they look more like uncle Bob Angley (Global Design Director/ Partner) than Daniel!

More happenings in 2017:  We< have just participated in two (2) exhibitions. Gary Walsh (GM, Lighting & Shelving Systems, AUS) , Holly Hockley (Design Director, AUS) and Bob Angley flew the  gg  flag at the Australian Pharmacy Fair in the Gold Coast and did a brilliant job. Ryan Arrowsmith (CEO Asia), Harry Finch (PM, UK), Ian Kirk (Systems Manager, AUS) and myself drew the short straw and had to make long journeys from Australia, Hong Kong and London to Düsseldorf, Germany for the 2017 Euroshop. We believe we were the only Australian company to exhibit amongst over 1000 exhibitors. This enormous exhibition must be seen to be believed.  The leads were significant, with great interest in gg’s Asia reach. This impressed many of the Europeans who seem a bit intimidated by dealing in that region. In addition to these exhibitions, we will also be exhibiting again at the Retail Asia Expo, in June. Do come along if you’re in Hong Kong and speak to the team to understand why the world’s foremost brands choose gg.
